The NWI Differentability Club is a social group geared toward college age people with high functioning disabilities, but all are welcome. It is sponsored by Autistic Eye Art and SNAP. SNAP stands for Special Needs Awareness Program.
Regular meetings are held once a month on the third tuesday (unless otherwise posted) at the Griffith community room at the Griffith YMCA in Griffith Indiana.
Activities vary, but include holiday parties, board game nights, karaoke, and outings like bowling night, arcade night, and karaoke. Local businesses, such as Lady's Gourmet Popcorn and Set Em Up Lanes, have contributed to the social group.
If you, or anyone you know, lives in NW Indiana and has a disability and is looking for a place to socialize and make friends, then this is something to check out.
If you have any questions regarding the social group feel free to contact James via the contact information on this site.
